Corfu Aquarium maintains this website to allow free access to information about the activities and services offered by the business. We try to retain these pieces of information updated and precise. We will try to correct any errors brought to our attention. In any case, Corfu Aquarium accepts no liability or culpability as far as the material on this website is concerned. This material relates to generic information and is addressed to specific circumstances not intended to report the situations of an individual or legal entity and is not intended to be complete or comprehensive.

Provided that the source is acknowledged, the reproduction of the websites can be performed, except where otherwise stated. Where prior permission is required to reproduce or use text (proposals, programs, future ideas) and multimedia information (sound, images, software, etc….), such permission shall cancel the above-mentioned general permission and presents clearly the restrictions on use.

Corfu Aquarium reserves the right to alter, close or remove details/exhibits without prior notice for technical, operational or other reasons and that no refunds can be given in these circumstances. 

Children 12 years and under are unable to enter the aquarium without adult (aged 18+) supervision.

Corfu Aquarium reserves the right to refuse entry without explanation.

All ticket prices and opening times are subject to change.

From time-to-time Corfu Aquarium or other authorised parties may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring on or in the vicinity of the Aquarium which may feature visitors. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that Corfu Aquarium or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Corfu Aquarium or such authorised party (as the case may be).

The present website includes references to other websites (links), constructed by other civilians, legal entities or organizations. These links are provided for the convenience of users, to provide further information. Corfu Aquarium bears no liability whatsoever and in no event provides any guarantee for the contents, the personal data protection policy, the completeness and quality of services and the security of other websites interconnected with the “website” through “links”, nor for the servers through which the “website” and the other websites are put at your disposal.

Corfu Aquarium will retain the right to modify at any moment and without any previous notice the Terms of Use of the website and publish them on the present page. For this reason, you are kindly requested to regularly visit this page.

Terms and conditions of electronic ticket sales.

The purchase of tickets can be done either by buying directly from the ticket office at the reception of Corfu Aquarium or through the e-ticketing service.

The ticket prices and the opening times of Corfu Aquarium may change according to the season.

The e-tickets that are purchased from Corfu Aquarium’s site are valid for 1 year and in accordance with the following conditions:

The visitors that use the e-ticket service to buy tickets for their visit to Corfu Aquarium will receive an e-mail notification verifying the date of their visit and the names of the ticket holders.

The ticket validation can be done by scanning the QR code straight from the visitor’s phone or tablet or from the printed e-mail with the ticket details, at the Corfu Aquarium ticket office.

A valid Passport or ID is required for reduced admission tickets.

Cancellations and refunds of tickets 

When: earlier than 48 hours before start time Refund: 100% of the price ticket

Your reservation is only valid during the time slot you have selected. In the case that the visitor cannot use their ticket for the date that it is booked, the ticket can be validated for another day, always within the year of purchase. There are no extra charges for rescheduling the visit by visiting the aquarium ticket office as long as it is rescheduled within the year of its original purchase. The visit should be rescheduled at least 12 hours prior to the booked time slot.

Ticket changes and cancellation by us

Occasionally, we may have to make changes before and after bookings have been confirmed and / or cancel confirmed bookings. If we have to make a significant change or cancel your ticket, we will tell you as soon as possible. We will offer you the choice of the following options: 

(a) accepting the changed arrangements or 

(b) purchasing an alternative ticket offer from us

(c) cancelling or accepting the cancellation in which case you will receive a full refund.

Please note, the above options are not available where any change made is a minor one (altering the time of your ticket). In all cases, our liability for significant changes and cancellations is limited to offering you the above-mentioned options. We regret we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation.

Lost/stolen/destroyed tickets

Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets cannot be reissued.

Transaction Safety

All payments that take place with the use of a card (visa or debit) are processed through Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

General

Your behaviour:

Any behaviour likely to cause annoyance/ offense to other guests or animals is not permitted in the aquarium. Smoking (including of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited other than in the designated smoking areas.

Pets:

Pets of any nature are prohibited in the aquarium (except for guide dogs and registered assistance dogs). All pets are allowed in the waiting area, self–service bar and entrance of the aquarium. 

Photography:

Unless it is expressly prohibited, you are permitted to take photographs and recordings within the aquarium provided that these are solely for private use and are not sold or used for any commercial or public purpose.  By accepting these conditions, you acknowledge that Corfu Aquarium may on demand have access to photographs taken and video footage captured by you and request that certain photographs and/or footage are deleted if they are deemed to be offensive to, or infringe the privacy of, other guests and/or staff. By accepting these conditions, you agree not to intentionally photograph and/or capture video footage of any individual without that person’s permission and you must adhere to all photography/filming restrictions in place from time to time whilst within the aquarium.

Corfu Aquarium accepts no responsibility for any loss and/or damage suffered by you as a result of any event outside our control.
